Rookies’ day off
Following two hard days at work, Alouette rookies were given the day off to take in the city and learn a bit about what makes Montreal such a fun place to play in.
Veteran medicals
Alouette veterans underwent their annual medicals this morning at the Campus du Fort St-Jean under the supervision of Head Trainer Rodney Sassi.

Bériault leaves, Renaud released, Folk fails medical
Receiver Yves Bériault decided to leave training camp late last night. “He was having a great camp up until this,” said Jim Popp. “We’re disappointed but we respect his decision.”
Concordia kicker Mike Renaud was released while veteran linebacker Ryan Folk failed his medical exam.
Heights and weights
The heaviest Alouette is Jeff Perrett (326 lbs.), while the lightest is Lamont Brightful (165 lbs.).
The tallest Alouette is Dave Mudge (6’7’’), with Avon Cobourne the shortest, coming in at 5’7’’.
Robert Edwards champion
Robert Edwards’ 86 was tops at Friday’s second annual Alouette Veterans’ Golf Tournament held at the Club de Golf St-Jean just down the street from the team’s training camp site. Damon Duval was second-best with an 88 and Dave Stala finished third with a 92.
Sunday
Fans are invited to take part in the official opening of the Alouettes’ 2007 training camp, presented by CN. Festivities begin as of 10 a.m. on the Campus du Fort St-Jean with Alouettes’ cheerleaders, coaches, players and mascot Touché all on site for autographs and fun following the practice around noon.
Monday
The Alouettes will pratice once on Monday, at 8 a.m.
