The Montreal Alouettes have named Kai Ellis, Dario Romero and Ben Cahoon the Alouettes Game MVPs for Week 2.
The winners are chosen following each game by the Alouettes’ coaching staff.
Offensive
The top receiver in team history, Ben Cahoon is the Offensive Game MVP following an eight-catch, 74-yard performance against the Blue Bombers last week.
Defensive
With four tackles, a sack and a pass knockdown, Dario Romero is the Defensive Game MVP for Week 2. He made several important plays, including a sack on Blue Bomber quarterback Kevin Glenn in the third quarter for a loss of one yard.
Special Teams
Kai Ellis is the Special Teams Game MVP, having contributed with several key blocks and a big stop of kick returner Albert Johnson III as the speedy Blue Bomber tried to bring back a missed field goal.
Week 1
The Game MVPs from Week 1 were Ben Cahoon (offensive), Devone Claybrooks (defensive) and Shawn Gallant (special teams).
