Official release, Montreal – The Montreal Alouettes have named Anthony Calvillo, Timothy Strickland and Walter Spencer the Alouettes Game MVPs for Week 3.
The winners are chosen following each game by the Alouettes’ coaching staff.
Offensive
The best quarterback in Alouettes’ history, Anthony Calvillo had a standout performance at Hamilton last week, completing 27 passes for 310 yards and three touchdowns. During the game, Calvillo became just the fourth passer in league history to break the 50,000-yard marker.
Defensive
Veteran linebacker Timothy Strickland is this week’s top Alouette on the other side of the ball. The defensive captain had six tackles against the Tiger-Cats.
Special Teams
With three tackles, linebacker Walter Spencer was the top special teams player this week.
