Stewart is in his sixth season with the Alouettes, his seventh in the CFL. In 2004, he was a CFL All-Star and was named the league’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player with 25 tackles, nine sacks, seven tackles for losses of 29 yards. He added 11 knockdowns as well as scoring two touchdowns on four interception returns. He was also the Alouettes’ Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2006.
Stewart also often fills in on offence as a tight end on short receiving plays.
The Panama City, FL, native lives in Montreal and participates in many of the Alouettes’ community programs including CN Adopt an Alouette, the School is Cool Basketball Jam and the Junior Alouettes Football Camps.
