The Montreal Alouettes have named Anthony Calvillo, Mark Estelle and Patrick Dorvélus the Alouettes Game MVPs following their Week 8 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Percival Molson Stadium.
The winners are chosen following each game by the Alouettes’ coaching staff.
Offence
Also named the Sports Experts Player of the Game as selected by the Montreal media, Anthony Calvillo continued his sharp play of late with 354 yards and a touchdown on 30 completions against the Ticats.
Defence
Mark Estelle made several important defensive plays, but none bigger than a 78-yard interception return late in the game that was the sixth longest such return in Alouettes’ history.
Special teams
Patrick Dorvélus was honoured for the second time this season, registering two special teams tackles against the Ticats.
