The Montreal Alouettes have named Elijah Thurmon, Matthieu Proulx and Joel Wright the Alouettes Game MVPs following their Week 13 loss to the Roughriders at Saskatchewan’s Mosaic Stadium.
The winners are chosen following each game by the Alouettes’ coaching staff.
Offence
Elijah Thurmon was named MVP for a second time this season. He stood out, catching eight passes for 136 yards. This was his second 100-yard receiving game this year.
Defence
Matthieu Proulx was honored as the defensive MVP for the second game in a row, registering his second interception in as many games.
Special teams
Having re-joined the team just two weeks ago, Joel Wright, was solid on special teams, recording one tackle and making several key blocks. This is his first career Game MVP honour.
