The Montreal Alouettes have named Kerry Watkins, John Bowman and Matthieu Proulx the Alouettes Game MVPs following their Week 14 game against the Tiger Cats at Percival Molson stadium.
The winners are chosen following each game by the Alouettes’ coaching staff.
Offence
After playing the best game of his career to date, Kerry Watkins was named MVP for a second time this season. He caught seven passes for 192 yards and one major, outperforming his previous personal record of 164 yards, established in 2005.
Defence
John Bowman was honoured as the defensive MVP for the second time this season. He recorded three tackles and a seventh sack this season. He leads the Alouettes in sacks so far this year.
Special teams
Matthieu Proulx was named an MVP for the third game in a row, but this time on special teams. He registered three tackles on special teams, receiving his fourth Game MVP honour this season.
