Official release, Montreal – The Montreal Alouettes will host more than 2,000 soldiers of the Canadian Forces from Quebec for their pre-season game this Thursday when the Toronto Argonauts come to Percival Molson Stadium.
“We are thrilled to host the Canadian Forces and we are counting on their support,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Larry Smith.
A few thousand soldiers will be in uniform to cheer for the Alouettes.
“On behalf of the Canadian Forces and our families, I would like to thank the players, employees and directors of the Montreal Alouettes for their support to our soldiers,” said General Rick Hillier, Chief of the Defence Staff.
The Alouettes play their final pre-season game this Thursday at 7 p.m. at Percival Molson Stadium and open the regular season the following week on Friday, June 29 at 7:30 p.m. as the Saskatchewan Roughriders will be in town.
A few tickets are still available for both games.
