Davis Sanchez was selected by the Alouettes in the first round, sixth overall, of the 1999 CFL Draft and has been with the team at three different times.
He also suited up for the Stampeders, the Eskimos and the San Diego Chargers.
He has been a cornerstone of the Alouettes’ defence for years, anchoring the cornerback position throughout his five years in Montreal. A two-time CFL All-Star, he was named the 2000 East Division Most Outstanding Canadian.
Originally from Vancouver, Sanchez currently holds the Alouettes’ record for most career interception-return touchdowns with three alongside teammate Anwar Stewart.
