Official release, Montreal – Receiver Brian Bratton has been named the CFL’s Special Teams Player of the Week, after returning eight punts for 170 yards last Thursday in Toronto. He made the play of the night with a 79-yard punt return touchdown that sealed the win for the Alouettes.
The Augusta, GA, native, who turned 25 yesterday, originally signed with the Atlanta Falcons after having played his NCAA football with the Furman Paladins. He also spent time with the Baltimore Ravens and in both the AFL and NFLE in 2006 before joining the Alouettes this season.
