Official release, Montreal – Montreal Alouettes’ running back Jarrett Payton has been named the CFL Offensive Player of the Week for a second time this season.
In the Alouettes’ 32-14 win over the B.C. Lions, Payton carried the ball 21 times for 119 yards, scoring three touchdowns. He has 523 yards and five touchdowns on 86 carries in just six games this season, averaging 6.1-yard per carry.
Damon Duval received an honourable mention for the second time this season in the special teams category.
