Official release, Montreal – In this exciting Montreal Grey Cup year, the Alouettes are ready to build the 2008 edition of their cheerleading squad. The audition will take place on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 9 a.m. at the John Molson Room of the Molson Brewery, located at 1670 Notre-Dame Est in Montreal.
As in each year, the Alouettes are expecting dozens of young women at the tryout and are looking for young dance enthusiasts who are prepared to also play an active role in the community. The candidates must be at least 18 years old and have dance experience. Interested candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and be prepared to give a significant portion of their time to the team’s year-round community activities.
Interested candidates can find a signup form by clicking here. The form must be filled out and brought to the audition along with $10 and a recent picture. The form is also available at the Alouettes’ head office at 1260 University, 1st floor.
This year, several members of the media and local celebrities will be on hand to judge the audition.
