Official release, Montreal – The Alouettes invite all of their fans to check out the home of the Montreal Football Club at the team’s annual locker room visit presented by TELUS on Saturday, Dec. 1 from noon to 3 p.m. at Olympic Stadium (Pie IX metro). Come meet some players, cheerleaders and team mascot, Touché!
As they do each year, the Alouettes will give fans a full tour of their locker room and will take advantage of the opportunity to collect non-perishable food items, toys and clothes for the Welcome Hall Mission. Upon making a donation, fans’ names will be entered into a draw to win Alouettes items. Fans will also be able to visit the official press box, where the media works on game day.
For those who want to get an early start to their holiday shopping, Alouettes’ merchandise will be on sale. Game-worn jerseys and other Alouettes’ items will also be available for purchase.
Over the last three years, TELUS has donated more than $40,000 to the Welcome Hall Mission and has invited dozens of needy families to Alouettes games. A long-time partner of the Montreal Alouettes and of the Welcome Hall Mission, TELUS will do its part by making a donation to the non-profit organization at 1 p.m. in the Alouettes’ football operations offices.
RDS will also be involved in the visit as football hosts Pierre Vercheval and Denis Casavant, as well as beat reporter David Arsenault, will be available for autographs in the press box. Fans will also be treated to a special “Fais ta vedette” promotional booth.
Free parking will be available at the PA-2 level of the Pierre-de-Coubertin parking garage (corner LaSalle).
