Official release, Montreal – The Montreal Alouettes selected linebacker Shea Emry in the first round, seventh overall, of the 2008 CFL Canadian Draft. As well, for the second consecutive season, the Alouettes focused on the offensive line, selecting three players at that position.
”We are extremely pleased with our picks and we believe these players will be able to contribute to our success over the next few years,” said Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp. “We always draft for the future and we believe we were able to get very talented players once again this year.”
