Official release, Montreal – Montreal Alouettes’ VP and General
Manager Jim Popp announced today the signings of quarterbacks Adrian
McPherson and Ricky Santos.
McPherson (6’3, 220 lbs.), has five years of experience in professional football including two
with the New Orleans Saints (2005, 2006). He also played in the Arena
Football League with the Austin Wranglers, the Grand Rapids Rampage,
the Utah Blaze and the Indiana Firebirds. He is 24.
Santos (6’2, 215 lbs.),
established several team records while with the New Hampshire Wildcats,
including the marks for the more career passing yards (13,212), passing
touchdowns (123) and completions (1,122). He won the 2006 Walter Payton
trophy, given to top offensive player in division I-AA of the NCAA. He
is 24.
