Montreal, Sept. 12, 2008 – The Montreal Alouettes are proud to announce that the 2008 edition of their annual golf tournament, presented by the Casino de Montréal, will take place on Monday, Sept. 15 at Golf Les Quatre Domaines in Mirabel.
All profits from the day will go to the Success For Youth Foundation, whose mission is to promote education in Quebec, and the Garde-Manger Pour Tous organization, which distributes over 2,800 warm meals daily to underprivileged children in Montreal.
Each foursome will be joined by a current or former Alouette, including such big names as Anthony Calvillo, Ben Cahoon, Matthieu Proulx, Larry Smith, Éric Lapointe and Peter Dalla Riva.
As well, several exclusive pieces of Alouettes memorabilia will be auctioned off at the end of the day to further up the financial contribution offered to these wonderful charitable organizations.
