Montreal, Oct. 4, 2008 – Following the Edmonton Eskimos’ win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers tonight, the Montreal Alouettes have won the 15th regular season East Division title and will host the East Division Final on Saturday, Nov. 15 at Olympic Stadium.
Season ticket holders have priority on purchasing tickets until Oct. 8 and tickets will go on sale to the general public on Oct. 9 at noon on MontrealAlouettes.com or via Admission at 514-790-1245 or 1-800-361-4595. Fans may already reserve group packages (minimum 10 people) by calling the Alouettes’ ticket office at 514-871-2255.
This is the team’s seventh East Division title in the last decade. The Alouettes have gone on to the Grey Cup 10 times when they have won their division, winning the Grey Cup three times as regular season champs. Overall, the Als have won five Grey Cups.
Over 50,000 tickets have already been sold for the Grey Cup which will be held at Olympic Stadium in Montreal on Nov.23.
