Montreal – With the East Division Final coming to the Olympic Stadium on Nov. 15, we thought we’d go around the sold-out Percival Molson Stadium today and find out who had tickets and who didn’t… as well as ask fans some other very important questions…

We asked fan Éric S. if he had any playoff tickets, he said yes, he always did. And as for what kind of fans go to a playoff game in Montreal?
“Real ones!”

Fan Luc Bédard agreed it was only real fans that went to a playoff game in this city, but admitted he didn’t have any. “Am I in trouble?” he asked. We told him not yet, but asked what he would do for a pair… to which he replied, “Maybe streak if I had to.” Try calling the ticket office instead, Luc.

Fan Anne-Marie Leclerc’s father will also be in trouble if he doesn’t bring her to the Division Final. She said that while she herself hadn’t bought any playoff tickets, her father did – and he had better bring her or else! What’s her favourite thing about a playoff game in Montreal?

When it comes to fan Pat O’Brien, it’s obvious he and his pals are some of those partying experts Anne-Marie was talking about. They all have their playoff tickets already, and Pat is trying to convince his buddies to paint their “beer-bellies” with a slogan – one letter per belly.
“We all have a beer belly, and they’re all fairly large, so it’s good – we’ll have a pretty big surface to work with.”
Note to self: Look for Pat and his friends during Eastern Division Final.
