This is a great day and great news for both the Calvillo family and the Alouettes’ family.
First, we have great health news for Alexia – she in a lot of ways is the leader of the family aspect of our organization,
Second, we welcome with great pride, and a few huge smiles, our team leader back for a number of years.
What makes this organization special are families like the Calvillos and the loyalty and respect that we have shown one another since the return of football to Montreal.
This great news today brings relief, excitement and determination to our football family and gives us all added motivation to want to improve on our success last season.

The most exciting part of the day is the great news about Alexia.
She is an inspiration to all of us and what the power of faith and positive thinking can do!
I am also extremely excited to hear that AC plans on coming back for another year as I am sure the other coaches and teammates are as well.
Knowing Anthony, I believe the health of Alexia, the success of the Als in 2008, and the overriding sense of unfinished business has rekindled his excitement and motivation for the upcoming season.
This is a great day for Alouette football and a great kickoff to the 2009 season.
