Montreal, Feb. 27, 2009 – Montreal Alouettes’ Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp announced today that veteran linebacker Cam Hall, defensive tackle Tim McGill and defensive back Jonathan Ordway have all signed one-year contracts plus an option with the team.

Cam Hall (6’, 222 lbs) played two seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, totalling an impressive 77 tackles and two sacks in 2007 and 69 tackles and three sacks in 2008. The 26-year-old Boise State product was named the Blue Bombers’ top rookie in ’07. |
Jonathan Ordway (5’11’’, 193 lbs) played five seasons in the Arena Football League, wrapping up his career there with 96 tackles, four interceptions and 28 knockdowns with the Chicago Rush in 2007 and 2008. Prior to joining the Rush, he had 226 tackles in 43 games with the Tampa Bay Storm. He also played two seasons with the Ottawa Renegades, in 2003 and 2004, leading the team in interceptions in ’04. He attended training camps with the Detroit Lions and the Indianapolis Colts in 2001 and 2002 upon completion of his university career with Boston College. He is 30.
Tim McGill (6’3’’, 332 lbs) played in the AFL from 2005 through 2008, the last two years with the Storm. He also played with the Carolina Cobras, the New York Dragons and the Utah Blaze and had short runs with the Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets. He is 29.
The Alouettes’ training camp will begin this June 7.
