Montreal, Apr. 6, 2009 – After playing seven games all over the province of Québec including two games in the Lac St-Jean region, the Alouettes will wrap up their 2009 hockey tour in Montreal at the Dodge Cup – the hockey provincial championships, presented from Apr. 8 through 12 in the Lac St. Louis region
The Alouettes will lace up their skates for the last time on Apr. 10 as they face the Canadiens’ Alumni at the Dollard des Ormeaux Civic Centre located at 12001 boul. de Salaberry. This will mark the third friendly game between these organizations in the last four years.
Tickets will be available on site the day of the game.
Étienne Boulay, Danny Desriveaux, Scott Flory, Jeff Perrett, Éric Deslauriers, Bruno Heppell and Patrick Dorvélus will be amongst the Alouettes on hand as they take on former Canadiens Stéphane Richer, Yvon Lambert, Donald Audette, Marc Bureau and Richard Sévigny.
The game starts at 6:15 p.m. and will be followed by an autograph session with both teams.
Organized in collaboration with RDS.ca, Énergie and Reebok, the tour features exciting games with current and former Alouettes and local players teaming up for great causes. Not only do the games raise money for the CN Adopt an Alouette school mentorship program, they also contribute to local football and other important organizations.
L’Équipeur will have a booth on site to sell Alouettes merchandise.
