Montreal, June 3, 2009 – It’s been an active off-season for the Alouettes filled with great signings, exciting draft picks and fun community activities, but now it’s time for your favourite players to suit up and hit the field!
Be a part of the action this Sunday, June 7 for the Alouettes’ Training Camp Opening Day, presented by CN at the Campus du Fort St-Jean in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Fans are welcome on site as of 10:30 a.m. to experience the intensity of a live practice, which will be followed by the chance to meet players, coaches and cheerleaders, get autographs and enjoy a barbecue. Children will be treated to games and makeup as well, making this a great experience for the whole family!
L’Équipeur will have a merchandise kiosk on site. The event will wrap up around 1 p.m.
Pre-season tickets available
The Alouettes will play two pre-season games during camp, first visiting the Argonauts at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on June 17 and then hosting the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on June 23 at Percival Molson Stadium.

The Als’ regular season will begin Wednesday, July 1 at 10 p.m., as they visit the Stampeders at Calgary’s McMahon Stadium (RDS HD, TSN HD, CKAC SPORTS, CJAD 800).
