Montreal, Aug. 13, 2009 – Act now and you can become a part of Alouettes history! Starting today, you can purchase a brick and become a part of the Alouettes’ Builders’ Club.
Started two years ago as part of the Percival Molson Stadium expansion project, the sale of commemorative bricks is a key part of the team’s strategy to renovate and expand the crown jewel of Canadian football stadiums.
On top of having your brick built into the new Builders’ Promenade, as a member, you will also receive an identical copy of your brick in a beautiful display box for your desk or home. All purchases are 100 per cent tax deductible due to the Alouettes’ association with McGill University.
“We’re inviting our fans and partners to become a part of our family,” said Alouettes President and CEO, Larry Smith. “This is a chance for everyone to get on board to ensure the long-term success of our franchise and make their mark on Percival Molson Stadium.”
All monies raised through this initiative will go towards funding the project, which will, amongst other things, increase stadium capacity to 25,000 seats.
