Montreal, Sept. 22, 2009 – Montreal Alouettes’ punter/kicker Damon Duval has been named the Canadian Football League’s Special Teams Player of the Week following his 19-point performance in the Alouettes’ 33-14 Week 12 win over the Blue Bombers at Percival Molson Stadium.
The five-year CFL vet made five field goals on five attempts while recording two singles on seven punts and two converts. He currently leads the CFL with 30 field goals, 18 singles and 140 points.
The Als will visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats next Friday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. (RDSHD, TSNHD, CKAC SPORTS, CJAD 800 AM).
