Montreal, Apr. 23, 2010 – Kids from seven to 15 years old from the Trois-Rivières’ region will have the chance to learn from the 2009 Grey Cup Champions in the 14th edition of the Junior Alouettes Football Camps at the Centre sportif Alphonse-Desjardins this Apr. 24 and 25. The camps are presented by SUBWAYMD restaurants.
In a constant effort to support the development of football in Quebec, the football training sessions are targeted towards kids from the ages of seven to 15 and are personalized to their physical and learning abilities, and in accordance to their age groups. Étienne Boulay, John Bowman, Skip Seagraves, Éric Deslauriers, Martin Bédard and alumni Bruno Heppell, Patrick Dorvélus and André Bolduc will coach and will communicate their passion and knowledge of the game and reveal the secret tips that make them pros.
“This is a great opportunity for the kids,” said Étienne Boulay, who will be coaching for a third year. “Not only will they benefit from the pros’ tips but they will also have the chance to spend the weekend with the Grey Cup Champions!”

Just like last year, 10 kids from elementary and high schools in the Trois-Rivières region will have the chance to take part in the camps thanks to TELUS, who will cover the cost of enrolment and equipment rental if needed. This unique experience will enable them to meet professional athletes and to experience unforgettable moments.
