Montreal, July 20, 2010 – The Montreal Alouettes are pleased to announce that rocker Marie-Mai will perform at half-time of the Als’ home opener this July 22. She will be the first half-time act in the Als’ brand new stadium.
With 300,000 albums sold since breaking onto the scene in 2004, Marie-Mai is one of the industry’s top young artists and the biggest star of her generation. She is renowned across the music industry and loved by the public for her talents as a writer, composer and performer. Her energy, dynamic style and rock attitude truly set her apart from the pack.
On top of being a huge success in Quebec, Marie-Mai has also made a name for herself in France, having sold over 30,000 copies of her album Inoxydable there.
The Alouettes will open their brand new stadium at McGill this July 22 with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in town (7:30 p.m. – RDSHD, TSNHD, NRJ, CJAD, CHOM).
