Pre-season tickets on sale now!

Montreal, May 10, 2011 – The Montreal Alouettes are pleased to announce that tickets for the club’s pre-season contest versus the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are now on sale to the general public.

The Alouettes will face the Bombers at Percival-Molson Stadium on Thursday, June 16 at 7:30 p.m. in what will be the team’s first real test of the 2011 season. The match also represents what will be fans’ first chance to catch a glimpse of not only the new faces that were added to the Alouettes roster over the off-season, but also of the 2011 CFL Canadian Draft’s first overall pick, Henoc Muamba, who was selected by the Bombers over the weekend at the league’s annual event. Furthermore, a good portion of the team’s veterans, who hoisted the Grey Cup last November, will likely also see playing time during the tune-up. Coach Trestman’s men will then travel to Hamilton to wrap up the pre-season versus the Tiger-Cats on June 22 at 7 p.m., before beginning their title defence at home on Thursday, June 30 at 7:30 p.m., when the BC Lions will be in town.

Tickets for the Alouettes first home game of 2011 can be purchased by calling 514-790-1245 or visiting Admission.com.
