MONTREAL – Quarterback Anthony Calvillo was back on the field with his teammates Tuesday.
Despite having to leave Friday’s game in Edmonton early following a violent hit late in the third quarter, Calvillo took first team reps, as he normally would if he were starting in Winnipeg on Friday.
“I felt good out there today,” confirmed Calvillo after the week’s first practice. “I’m not feeling any lingering effects from Friday’s hit and my plan is to be at my post in Winnipeg this week.”
Before leaving the game Friday, Calvillo had completed 21 of his 29 attempts for 270 yards.
Calvillo has made 12 consecutive starts dating back to last season when he sat out on Week 18 against the Toronto Argonauts.
