MONTREAL – Anthony Calvillo was at back practice on Tuesday with nothing but a rematch with the Stampeders on his mind.

The sigh of relief on the part of Stampeders fans upon hearing Calvillo may not suit up on Thursday likely turned to sheer panic today when the Alouettes star quarterback was spotted back on the field with his teammates.
After missing practice on Monday to get a precautionary MRI done on his non-throwing shoulder and getting a little extra rest, the Als pivot was feeling much better 24 hours later.
“I’m feeling good and I’m looking to play on Thursday against Calgary,” confirmed Calvillo.
Never lacking in the motivation department to begin with, the veteran QB is itching for another crack at the Stampeders after being held to only 174 yards passing in Week 1 in Cowtown. Calvillo will also be looking to snap his team’s three-game skid against the Stamps which dates back to an Alouettes 46-10 homefield win over Calgary back on October 11, 2010.
The Alouettes and Stampeders will kick-off at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Percival Molson Stadium.
