MONTREAL – The Montreal Alouettes are calling on their fans’ generosity this Friday, as all fans in attendance at Percival Molson Stadium are encouraged to make donations to help the people affected by last weekend’s tragedy that hit Lac-Mégantic in the Eastern Townships.
Team volunteers together with members of the Alouettes players and coaches’ families will be collecting donations at all three Percival Molson Stadium entrances starting from 6:00 p.m. when the doors open for the game against the Calgary Stampeders.
All sums amassed will be sent to the Explosion Lac-Mégantic Support Fund of the Canadian Red Cross.
A moment of silence will also be observed prior to kickoff.
