MONTREAL – Three weeks into the season, here are the numbers that stick out following Friday’s game opposite Calgary.
20: Consecutive games in which Anthony Calvillo has tossed at least one touchdown pass, a streak spanning all 17 of his starts in 2012 plus the three games so far this season. Pro football’s all-time leading passer currently holds the fourth longest streak in CFL history with his own career-best of 21 straight set back in 2008-09.
79,000: Career passing yards for AC, who became the first pro QB to reach the mark on the final play of the third quarter.
63: Career sacks for all-star defensive end John Bowman, who is now just three sacks away from equalling the mark set by former Alouette and all-time leader Anwar Stewart with 66. Bowman reached Stamps’ starting quarterback Kevin Glenn twice, including once in the first quarter.
81: Yards amassed by the Alouettes’ offence on their opening drive, capped by a 19-yard touchdown strike from pivot Anthony Calvillo to receiver Brandon London, the latter’s first major of the season. Calvillo completed seven of his eight pass attempts to the tune of 63 yards on Montreal’s first drive as the Alouettes jumped to an early 7-0 lead.

29: The last thing Stampeders punter Rob Maver saw before #29 Ed Gainey blocked a punt and returned it 38 yards to the house at 11:12 in the fourth quarter to cut Calgary’s lead to 19-14. The last time the Alouettes scored a touchdown on a blocked punt was on July 6, 2006 against Hamilton, when Patrick Dorvélus did the same.

278: Days since star receiver Brandon London last found the end zone at Percival Molson Stadium. Equipped with a new knee and showing no signs of ill effects, London produced 34 yards and a TD on four receptions against Calgary.
24: Birthday candles Alouettes rookie safety Mike Edem blew out Thursday night. Montreal’s top draft pick in the 2013 CFL draft has already recorded a sack, a fumble recovery, an interception and 13 defensive tackles in his first three games, proving that there’s nothing wrong with a little self-gifting.
257: Days since offensive lineman Michael Ola last started for the Alouettes, as the second-year guard made his 2013 season debut at Percival Molson Stadium against the Stampeders, filling in for Andrew Woodruff. Ola played sporadically last season with Montreal making his last start of the year on October 28 against Edmonton.
23,184: Fans who showed up to support the Alouettes under the Friday night lights, as Montreal played its second home game at Percival Molson Stadium.
