Alouettes release Arland Bruce III

MONTREAL – The Alouettes announced on Wednesday that the club has released veteran receiver Arland Bruce III.

“The Alouettes would like to thank Arland for his hard work and contributions last season,” said Alouettes General Manager Jim Popp. “Through the challenges we faced, he played multiple roles on game day and came to work every day with the determination to win. We wish Arland the best in his future endeavours.”

Bruce III (5’11’’, 194 lbs.) caught 64 passes for gains of 851 yards last season with the Alouettes. The 12-year veteran also rushed for 121 yards on 19 carries.
