Arriving with a coffee in hand, pro-football’s all-time leading passer relished his role as simply an observer on Tuesday, looking relaxed on the sidelines while spending his first summer away from the gruelling demands of training camp following an incredible 20-year playing career.

His successor behind centre meanwhile, Troy Smith demonstrated that the offence is in good hands moving forward, completing numerous passes on Tuesday, including a long play to running back Tyrell Sutton who reached the end zone following his catch.
