Alouettes add linebacker Kyle Norris to the roster

MONTREAL – The Montreal Alouettes announced on Friday that the club has added national linebacker Kyle Norris to the roster. 

 

Norris (6’3″, 235 lbs) suited up for the St. Mary’s University Huskies for one season where he recorded 48 defensive tackles and three sacks. He also notched one interception and forced a fumble in eight games with the Halifax based Univerisy. Norris was selected in the third-round (24th overall) by the Edmonton Eskimos in the 2013 CFL Canadian draft. 

 

In three games with Edmonton, the 24 year-old linebacker amassed five special teams tackles. The Stittsville, Ontario native then headed to Winnipeg where he suited up for two games with the Blue Bombers this season.
