MONTREAL – The second edition of the Montreal Alouettes Coaching Clinic presented by Old Dutch will be taking place on Saturday, March 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Collège Letendre in Laval. The popular event is fully booked with almost 150 minor football coaches registered.
Coaches from every age category and level in Quebec registered for the Clinic for free via the Alouettes website.
The entire Montreal Alouettes coaching staff will be on-hand to share their knowledge and coaching expertise with the amateur coaches who are coming from throughout the province. Head coach Tom Higgins, as well as coordinators Noel Thorpe (defence), Turk Schonert (offence) and Kavis Reed (special teams) will give special presentations, as will position coaches Anthony Calvillo, Ryan Dinwiddie, Keith Willis, Anwar Stewart, André Bolduc, Kris Sweet and Chris Tormey.
It has always been important for the Montreal Alouettes to be involved with minor football and to share their knowledge with tomorrow’s stars. The organization is also involved with schools, as players will visit over 60,000 students this year through the Together at School with the Alouettes program.
