Sherbrooke – The Montreal Alouettes have been made aware and will monitor the situation regarding wide receiver Mardy Gilyard, who was arrested for simple possession of marijuana at an off-campus location in the borough of Lennoxville in Sherbrooke, QC, on Monday morning.
The Montreal Alouettes do not condone this type of behavior from any employee. The club will allow the justice system to render a verdict and will act accordingly.
The organization will have no further comment on this matter at this time.
