MONTREAL – Montreal Alouettes football player Nicolas Boulay is proud to announce the Club 52 in collaboration with the Montreal Alouettes and the Fondation Québec Jeunes. Through this initiative, Boulay invite – free of charge – 52 young people to every home game during the 2016 season. These youths will be recruited by the Foundation’s partners and come from across the province.
Why 52? That’s simple – it’s Nicolas’s jersey number. “It’s important for me to give back. I want young people to see that it is possible to realize their dreams through perseverance and hard work. When I started playing football, I weighed 90 pounds. Nobody could have predicted that I would play professional football one day. Everything is possible!” said the Alouettes player, who will encourage his network of friends, teammates and associates to donate to the Foundation to enable even more young people to attend Alouettes games.
Nicolas’s guests will get to enjoy the perks associated with VIP treatment by sitting in a reserved section, having a snack at the Subway restaurant and what is sure to be very special experience, a visit from Nicolas and other players after the game. The players will take the opportunity to talk with the youngsters and sign autographs.
The public is also invited to support this initiative and have young people attend Alouettes games by making a donation to Club 52 via the Fondation Québec Jeunes’s website.
