In February 2015, the Alouettes welcomed Boris Bede, former Rouge et Or kicker from Laval University. His first game as a starter was on June 13th, as the team played on the field of TELUS-Laval University EPS stadium where Bede has been successful as he was part of the championship winning teams that lifted the Vanier Cup in 2012 and 2013. Since his debuts with the Alouettes, Boris Bede proved that he was ready to play alongside professionals.

Fans know little about the kicker native of Toulon, in France, and we took advantage of this occasion to ask him a few questions allowing us to present you his profile.
Opening with the musical aspect, Joe Dassin, Zac Waters, and NAS are Bede’s favourite artists.
Continuing with Hollywood, the kicker loves movies such as Cold Runnings and Rush Hour as Jackie Chan, one of his favourite actors, is starring in the movie.
Moving on to TV shows, Bede enjoys watching throwback such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as Will Smith, another one of his favourite actors, portrays the main character. The popular HBO series, Game of Thrones has shaken up the world with tons of surprises over the past few years, leaving the audience and Boris Bede wanting for more! His literature hit is Always Running and his favourite football player is Adam Vinatieri.
It is obvious to say that football takes a big part of our players’ life but did you know that soccer means a lot to Bede? At the time he studied in the United-States, soccer was the sport he practiced. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, the native of Toulon stills appreciate soccer in all its form as his first choice for video game is FIFA 2015.
As the interview reaches the end, Boris Bede could not ignore questions about the Montreal lifestyle and countless restaurants that the metropolis has to offer. Being asked about those aspects of the city, kicker of the Alouettes holds a top three of his favourite restaurants in Montreal: Sushi 999, Romados, and Dallas BBQ.
