Montreal – The Montreal Alouettes are pleased to announce today the renewal of their partnership with 98,5 fm. The number one station in Canada will broadcast all of the Alouettes regular season games on French radio for the next three years going through 2018.

Every game will be preceded by a 30 minute pre-game show hosted by Jean St-Onge and Jacques Dussault. Tonight’s tilt against the BC Lions will be aired on 98,5 fm starting at 7:00 p.m. with the pre-game show.

“We are pleased to renew our long term partnership with 98,5 fm. They have been a long-time partner of ours and this renewal is very significant for our organization,” said Alouettes President and C.E.O., Mark Weightman. “Also, the team can rely on CKOI to activate exclusive contests, which will offer us a bigger range.”

“We are extremely pleased that the Alouettes continue to show the confidence they have in the 98,5 fm and the Cogeco Diffusion stations. We will continue to work hand in hand in order to offer sports enthusiasts throughout Quebec as well as Alouettes fans a complete coverage of the team’s activities through our many sports shows and game broadcasts with Jean St-Onge and Jacques Dussault,” added Michel Tremblay, sports director at 98,5 fm, which also broadcasts Montreal Canadiens and Montreal Impact games and is a proud partner of InterBox, Eye of the Tiger, le Groupe GYM and Tennis Canada.
