The objectives of the Alouettes Foundation are to promote education by working to reduce the dropout rate among adolescents and young adults, as well as to encourage the development of amateur football in Quebec.

It was a beautiful sunny day and many current Alouettes players took part, including Bear Woods, Tanner Marsh, Josh Bourke, Jeff Perrett, Nicolas Boulay, Michael Klassen and Jean-Christophe Beaulieu.

Bruno Heppell, Steve Charbonneau and Peter Dalla Riva were among the Alouettes alumni who attended the event, as did president and CEO Mark Weightman and general manager and head coach Jim Popp. New offensive co-coordinator Anthony Calvillo stopped by to meet people attending the tournament before having to head off to prepare for Sunday’s game against Saskatchewan.
