Lavarias and Smith undergo season-ending surgery

Montreal – The Montreal Alouettes announced on Monday that international defensive end Aaron Lavarias and international defensive back Brandon Smith have undergone season-ending surgeries.
Lavarias, who injured himself in the fourth quarter, had surgery to repair a lower left leg fracture
As for Smith, he had surgery on a dislocated right wrist following an injury sustained in the first quarter. He was playing his first game in an Alouettes uniform.
