This year’s Walk for ALS in Montreal will be held at Parc Maisonneuve on Saturday, September 16th. Some players, coaches and cheers will be there to take part in the walk and supporting the Tony Proudfoot Fund at the ALS Society which continues to fund cutting edge research and support families living with ALS.
Here are some of the details for this year’s walk:
Date: Saturday, September 16th
Place: Maisonneuve Park (across from Olympic Stadium), between Pie IX and Viau
Time: Pre-walk presentations will begin at 11:00 AM with the walk beginning at 11:20ish . It is a 3km walk on one of the paved trails.
Parking: If you aren’t already at the stadium. There is parking at the Insectarium/Biodome/Jardin Botanique lot (between Pie Ix and Viau). Just across the street from Olympic Stadium.
Meeting place: Please meet inside the chalet or near the stage area
