A new tradition has been launched in partnership with RDS! After each home win, a helmet, created by Montreal artist Jacques Gallant, will be awarded by Didier Orméjuste to the player who fought the hardest on the field.
The quick and fun ceremony will undoubtedly increase the fans’ experience whether they are following the game from the comfort of their home or from the stadium. The first to wear the helmet was, of course, Luc Brodeur-Jourdain after the Home Opening win.
At the end of the season, the helmet autographed by all the players to have won the award will be sold as part of an online silent auction benefiting the Montreal Alouettes Foundation.
