The Montreal Alouettes announced the following transactions on Tuesday.

Alford (5’8″, 177 lbs.) played for the Toronto Argonauts in 2018 catching seven balls for 57 yards. He also rushed for 10 yards in one run. The 27-year-old was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2015 NFL Draft with who he registered one catch for 15 yards. He also spent time with the New York Jets, the Cleveland Browns and the Chicago Bears. The Greenville, GA native previously played for the West Virginia University Mountaineers.
Rabb (6’4″, 212 lbs.) completed his college eligibility with the Midwestern State University Mustangs in Wichita Falls, where his 6,399 passing yards and 62 passing touchdowns each rank second all-time in the program. In 2018, the 23-year-old athlete was a first team all-conference selection and nominated for the second time for the Harlon Hill Trophy, Division II’s version of the Heisman Trophy, which goes to the most outstanding player in college football.
Sanelli (6’2″, 285 lbs.) is making a comeback after playing one game with the team in 2019. The 25-year-old defensive tackle was a fifth-round pick by the Alouettes in the 2019 CFL Draft. In 2018, the Toronto, ON native made 12 solo tackles, 8.5 tackles for losses of 58 yards and 5.5 sacks in seven games with the Concordia University Stingers.
Santoso (6’6″, 258 lbs) spent three years as a kicker with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. In his last season with the team, the 24-year-old athlete made 66 punts that averaged 43 yards, the team’s second-best score in school history.17 of his 52 punts were not returned. The kicker from Pace, FL was a member of the Detroit Lions organization in 2018 and 2019.
Smith (5’6″, 155 lbs) played five seasons in the CFL from 2014 to 2018. He was part of the Ottawa REDBLACKS in his first three years, winning the Grey Cup in 2016. The Muncie, IND. native, headed out West in Edmonton where he played two seasons with the Eskimos. In 34 games in the CFL, the receiver caught 21 passes for 267 verges and scored one touchdown. In 144 punt returns the 28-year-old gained 1199 yards and collected 1566 yards on 74 kickoff returns.
Thomas (6’2”’, 320 lbs.) played 20 games with the Texas Tech Red Raiders during his time in the NCAA where he collected 49 defensive tackles and one quarterback sack. The 24-year-old Dallas native also earned an interception and recovered two fumbles in his two seasons at Texas Tech. In 2018, Thomas spent some time with the New York Jets.
