Defensive end Gabriel Knapton back with the Alouettes

The Montreal Alouettes announced the following transactions on Wednesday.

Player added to the practice roster:
Gabriel Knapton (A), DE, Wyoming

Knapton (6’3”, 265 lbs.) returns to Montreal after playing the first four seasons of his career in the city from 2014 to 2017 and one season in 2018. In 81 career-games in the CFL, the 30-year-old amassed 203 defensive tackles, including 12 for losses, while registering 36 quarterback sacks. He also forced two fumbles and made three knockdowns. Following his first CFL season in 2014, the Mead, CO native was voted the Alouettes Most Outstanding Rookie.
