The Alouettes announced on Wednesday that the club has signed its second-round draft pick from this year’s CFL Canadian Draft, DB Andrew Lue, to a three-year deal.

The Alouettes drafted eight prospects in Tuesday’s CFL Canadian Draft, including a pair of local picks in Carabins OL David Foucault and Vert et Or RB JC Beaulieu.
The 2014 CFL Canadian Draft kicks off this Tuesday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. ET, and the Alouettes will be on the clock eight times throughout the seven-round event, including twice in the fourth round.
In collaboration with Héma-Québec, the Alouettes annual Blood Drive will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at Place Ville Marie in the heart of downtown Montreal.
