Rob McIntyre


Scout


McIntyre joined the Alouettes as a scout in 2020 and helped recruit some of the talent that captured the Grey Cup with the Alouettes in 2023. He was also a scout for the BC Lions in 2018 and the Edmonton Eskimos from 2007 to 2011.

He started coaching in 1998, winning the National Championship with the Windsor AKO Fratmen (CJFL) in 1999. He has coached high school football in Windsor, Ontario winning several City and Provincial championships. He also served as the defensive coordinator at St Francis Xavier University in 2004 and 2005 before making the leap to the CFL. In his career, he coached and developed several CFL and NFL players including Dakoda Shepley (Dallas Cowboys) and Theo Johnson (NY Giants).

McIntyre played at the University of Windsor and was a captain for four years. He was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player in 1994 and 1996.
